POKKET

Barcelona, Spain | 2022 | Completed

POKKET reimagines urban spaces as ecosystems, merging nature with architecture to enhance city living. The project uses clay 3D printing to create bio-receptive structures that foster plant growth and support biodiversity, actively contributing to air quality improvement and the reintroduction of natural systems in urban environments. 3D printing is used as a fabrication method in order to introduce variations in the design of elements that support local wildlife and to regulate microclimates. This innovative approach demonstrates how digital fabrication can contribute to re-naturalizing urban environments, giving back to the ecosystems we inhabit.
