VASONI
Barcelona, Spain| 2023 | Completed
Vasoni redefines traditional planters by blending functional design with ecological principles, creating a living vessel that nurtures both plants and the soil they grow in. Fabricated through robotic clay 3D printing, Vasoni features multiple side openings and a central hollow cylinder that transforms food waste into nourishment for its greenery. As water passes through the food waste, it draws nutrients toward the plants, creating a self-sustaining ecosystem. This project harnesses digital fabrication to craft a unique form one the one hand and to promote sustainable practices on the other, showing how design can merge with ecology to regenerate the environments we cultivate.
